Sonic landscapes rose, in essence, from Rohini’s interest in sharing the sacred and healing experience that comes out of the chanting of this loving transcendental vibration: the sound of Hari.

It started as a workshop for sacred chanting and healing sonic activities. It occasionally included Ajna light meditation with live sound healing performance featuring the Gaiatri Singing Pipes.

The first sonic landscapes event took place in December 2015 at the Hive in Dalston Kingsland.

Sonic landscapes is, in its broaden form, a travelling stage, which can also take the form of an evening that serves as a platform for conscious musicians, spiritual chanting and healing performance aiming to be a shelter in a world of sonic chaos. Sonic landscapes has seen the support from talented musicians of the likes of Aref Durvesh and Bloom the Wilde, as well as the presence of Najma Ankar, to name a few. It has also seen the development of electro-healing, a musical term implemented initially to describe the soothing sound of singing pipes plus the grounding sound of tabla enhanced by music technology production. However, electro-healing has become the main course of the night. Sonic landscapes magical, mystical, special phenomena quality relies in the eclectic array of healing instruments performed by wonderful people driven by the most primary meaning of music: love.
